Refund Policy

1. Overview

We want every MyEcomClaw customer to feel confident about their purchase. This refund policy explains what is and isn't refundable, how our satisfaction guarantee works, and how to cancel if the service isn't the right fit. No fine print, no tricks.

In short: setup fees cover real deployment work and are non-refundable. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime with no penalty. And if we can't get your agents running within 14 days, you get a full subscription refund.

2. Setup Fees

Each plan includes a one-time setup fee that covers server provisioning, security hardening, agent deployment, configuration, and initial testing. This work begins immediately after payment.

Setup fees are non-refundable because they cover one-time deployment labor and infrastructure configuration that is completed before or at the time of service activation. This work cannot be "undone" or reclaimed.

3. Monthly Subscription

3.1 Cancel Anytime

You can cancel your MyEcomClaw subscription at any time. There are no long-term contracts, no cancellation fees, and no penalties.

3.2 No Partial-Month Refunds

Monthly subscription fees are billed in advance. If you cancel mid-cycle, your service continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

Example: If your billing date is the 10th and you cancel on the 22nd, your agents remain active and fully managed until the 10th of the following month. No further charges apply.

3.3 Plan Downgrades

Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You won't be charged the higher rate again after requesting a downgrade.

4. 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our deployment speed. If MyEcomClaw is unable to deploy your AI agents on your infrastructure within 14 calendar days of your signup date, you are entitled to a full refund of your first month's subscription fee.

4.1 How It Works

  • The 14-day clock starts on the date your first subscription payment is processed
  • "Deployed" means at least one agent is live on your server, connected to your Shopify store, and processing actions
  • If deployment is not complete by day 14, email us to request a refund
  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method

4.2 What's Not Covered

The 14-day guarantee does not apply when delays are caused by:

  • Late or missing information from you (Shopify API keys, server credentials, etc.)
  • Your hosting provider experiencing outages or provisioning delays
  • Requested customizations beyond standard deployment scope
  • Third-party service issues (Shopify, LLM providers)

Setup fees remain non-refundable even under the satisfaction guarantee, as deployment work has already been performed.

5. AI Credit Add-Ons

5.1 Managed AI Credit Packs

If you purchase optional Managed AI Credit add-on packs (ranging from $49/month to $399/month), these follow the same cancellation rules as your main subscription: cancel anytime, service continues through the end of the billing period, no partial refund.

5.2 One-Time Token Top-Ups

One-time token top-up purchases ($19 to $499) are non-refundable. Unused tokens from top-ups do not roll over beyond 60 days from the purchase date. After 60 days, any remaining balance expires.

5.3 BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

If you use your own API keys (BYOK), you pay OpenAI or Anthropic directly. MyEcomClaw has no involvement in those charges and cannot issue refunds for third-party API costs.

6. How to Cancel

Cancellation is straightforward. No phone calls, no "retention department," no hoops to jump through.

Once we confirm your cancellation, we'll send a confirmation email with your final billing date and next steps.

7. After Cancellation

When your subscription ends, here is exactly what happens:

  • Your server stays yours. You provisioned it, you own it, we never had ownership. Your VPS or Mac Mini continues running as-is.
  • Your data stays on your server. Orders, inventory, customer records, agent logs, configurations — all of it remains on your infrastructure.
  • Your OpenClaw installation stays. OpenClaw is MIT licensed. You can continue running your agents independently without paying anyone.
  • Our remote access is revoked. MyEcomClaw's Tailscale VPN connection to your server is disconnected immediately. We recommend also revoking our access in your Shopify admin settings.
  • No more managed services. Monitoring, updates, security patches, and support from MyEcomClaw stop at the end of your billing period.
  • Your API keys stay on your server. We never store copies of your Shopify, OpenAI, or Anthropic keys on our systems.

Zero lock-in. Unlike traditional SaaS tools, cancelling MyEcomClaw doesn't mean losing your setup. Everything stays on your server. You just lose the managed part — the monitoring, updates, and support.

8. Disputes & Payment Issues

8.1 Contact Us First

If you see an unexpected charge or believe a billing error has occurred, please contact us at support@myecomclaw.com before opening a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We resolve most billing issues within 1-2 business days.

8.2 Stripe Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Stripe. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with us, Stripe handles the formal dispute and chargeback process. We cooperate fully with Stripe's dispute resolution procedures.

8.3 Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails, Stripe automatically retries per its standard retry schedule. If payment continues to fail, we'll notify you by email before any service suspension. You'll have at least 7 days to update your payment method.
